Twin Lakes TrailTwin Lakes Rd is one of the many Forest Service Roads that are accessible by the public. You must remember to pull into one of the forestry information sites and purchase a parking pass. I know that one of the forestry sites parking meters is broken. You will have to go to the Maple Falls Shell Gas Station, and pick up a parking pass there. This road is accesses many of the local hiking trails and viewpoints. Tomyhoi Lake Tr. Twin Lakes Tr, and Yellow Aster Butte. The road is drivable by your average car, however be aware of large potholes and rocks. The last 2 miles of the road needs a 4X4 capable vehicle.
